One day of travel
I learnt to give when I know I need. Life gives opportunity to give when we can, when we have, and sometimes life gives a circumstance to give when you know you need it.
I was on for a 5 day training class to Madurai. First day mom kept me enough money on my purse, which I never check, I started and came back home. Second day I started and only to know that that enough money was vanished. I was shocked and came to know that my purse contains two 200rs and one 10rupee note and some coins. I know this would be sufficient for me to travel to Madurai coz the rate is 80rs to and fro would be 160 and would be left with rs 40 +10rs + coins, so I thought okay today is going to be an adventure. Between I have to take food. So I thought I will know how my fellow people live everyday with a lack in the money and being calculatedly spent, which I never did.
I spent some 8rs to bus stand with the coins I had and to my surprise my friend called me that day to travel with her. I started and to my misfortune she opted for 90rs bus. I said okay and travelled. When we got down, she asked have you taken your breakfast, I said yes and asked about her, she said no, I asked her to come but she refused but I convinced her to come and when the bill arrived I took the bill and paid it and I wanted to tip the old gentle man who served us, and I said I would discard my food today. By this time I know I wouldn't have enough money to come back. And then we were on the town bus which is higher than other. I started to smile at the situations. After my class we came back and to my surprise I found some more 10 rupee notes in my bag's corner zipper which I remember dumping it down yesterday on the town bus while coming home which I totally forgot and it was sufficient to take my food and tips and way back to my place and then two town buses to my home and was left with rs10 extra. It went all bussssss :-) but a nice experience in the morning.
